
12th Mushroom Fair: Science, Gastronomy, and Culture Around the Fascinating World of Fungi
Bogotá is set to enjoy a unique experience with the arrival of the 12th Mushroom Fair, an event that celebrates the fascinating world of fungi through science, gastronomy, art, and culture. The fair will take place on October 4 and 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Aurora Espacios Conscientes (Calle 71 #9-55, Quinta Camacho). Admission is $15,000. Visitors will have the chance to explore more than 25 ventures dedicated to mushroom cultivation, research, gastronomy, and arts inspired by fungi.

Based on the biblical story of the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar and the exile of the Jews, this opera by Giuseppe Verdi has become a universal tale. Themes of hope and national dignity serve as the backdrop for some of the Italian composer’s most famous arias, including the iconic chorus “Va, pensiero.” This production will be conducted by Yeruham Scharovsky, with stage direction by Pedro Salazar, and features the participation of the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia and the National Choir of Colombia..
