12th Mushroom Fair: Science, Gastronomy, and Culture Around the Fascinating World of Fungi

Bogotá is set to enjoy a unique experience with the arrival of the 12th Mushroom Fair, an event that celebrates the fascinating world of fungi through science, gastronomy, art, and culture. The fair will take place on October 4 and 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Aurora Espacios Conscientes (Calle 71 #9-55, Quinta Camacho). Admission is $15,000. Visitors will have the chance to explore more than 25 ventures dedicated to mushroom cultivation, research, gastronomy, and arts inspired by fungi.

How to get there?

• By private vehicle: You can easily get there from main roads such as Carrera 7, Carrera 11, or Avenida Caracas. When you reach Calle 71, head west to Carrera 9, where you will find the venue at number 55. There are parking spaces available nearby.
• By TransMilenio: The closest stations are Flores and Calle 72 on Avenida Caracas. From either of these stations, walk 8-10 minutes west on Calle 71 until you reach Carrera 9.
• By SITP: Several SITP routes pass through the Chapinero area and drop you off a few blocks from Aurora. Some of the closest include 18-3, 319, A302, and C32, which run along corridors such as Calle 72, Carrera 7, and Carrera 11.
