11th Macarenazo Festival
Under the theme “Living Roots, Memory, and Future of the Neighborhood,” the 11th Macarenazo Festival will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in the La Macarena neighborhood in downtown Bogotá.
This traditional festival aims to continue positioning the area as an important tourist destination in the city, showcasing its diverse gastronomic, artisanal, historical, architectural, and cultural offerings.
The Father
The Teatro Nacional presents the internationally award-winning play, which continues its run at the Teatro Nacional with more than 18,000 spectators and 60 successful performances. El Padre is a masterful tale about the fragility of memory and the struggle to hold on to one's identity when everything begins to fade away.
Synopsis:
Sometimes love is not enough to deal with the tragic issues of life. In order to keep living, we have to give up the things we love most.
Mompreneurs Fest Colombia
Mompreneurs Fest Colombia is an entrepreneurship event in Colombia and Latin America focused on women entrepreneurs. International experts, mentors, and representatives from institutions that support female entrepreneurship will gather on August 1 at the Compensar Avenida 68 venue.

As part of LGBTI Pride Month and the Festival for Equality in Bogotá, three marches convened and agreed by the citizens will take place. The Trans March will be a space to walk for a Bogotá where you are free to be.
📍Route: From the Plaza Ferial 20 de Julio (exit of Portal 20 de Julio – Carrera 5A and between Calles 30A Sur and 32 Sur) to the Granada Sur Urbanization Park (Calle 20 # 2B East).
LGBTI March
As part of LGBTI Pride Month and the Festival for Equality in Bogotá, three marches convened and agreed by the citizens will take place. The LGBTI March will be the event to walk through Bogotá to defend your rights.
📍 Route: From National Park along Carrera 7 to Bolívar Square.

Artistic performances by LGBTI social sector collectives from the localities of Santafé, Los Mártires, and La Candelaria, and the discussion "Silenced Voices: How to Break the Cycle of LGBTI Violence?"
