The Muisca Indigenous Council of Bosa proudly announces the 25th Jizca Chía Zhue Festival, “El Tamuy de Bacatá,” a celebration that blends tradition, spirituality, and art to honor the Wedding of the Sun and the Moon. This is the 25th edition of the festival in its ancestral territory and the second edition since it was included in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage at the district level through Resolution No. 935 of December 15, 2023, issued by the Secretariat of Culture, Recreation, and Sports. 

The 1st Future Megacities Forum, organized by the Colombian-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, aims to create an international platform for dialogue and cooperation that brings together leaders from government, business, academia, and civil society to share experiences and success stories addressing the major urban challenges of our time. Through keynote speeches, specialized panels, and the participation of national and international experts, the Forum seeks to promote innovative solutions in sustainable mobility, citizen security, urban governance, and transportation planning.

As part of the Bogotá Music Market – BOmm 2025, the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, through its Music Cluster and in partnership with Asobares Colombia, presents a new edition of Área en Vivo Lab—an artistic circulation initiative that promotes emerging musical talent in Bogotá.
Área en Vivo Lab is a strategic platform designed to enhance the visibility of local artists and strengthen the position of Bogotá-Region as a UNESCO Creative City of Music.

The Bogotá International Biennial is a large-scale initiative that positions the city as an epicenter of global contemporary art, fostering dialogue between artists, curators, and diverse audiences. Conceived as a platform for experimentation and reflection, the Biennial integrates exhibitions, urban interventions, and academic programs exploring issues of social and cultural relevance.  

Under the theme “Living Roots, Memory, and Future of the Neighborhood,” the 11th Macarenazo Festival will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in the La Macarena neighborhood in downtown Bogotá.

This traditional festival aims to continue positioning the area as an important tourist destination in the city, showcasing its diverse gastronomic, artisanal, historical, architectural, and cultural offerings.

The Teatro Nacional presents the internationally award-winning play, which continues its run at the Teatro Nacional with more than 18,000 spectators and 60 successful performances. El Padre is a masterful tale about the fragility of memory and the struggle to hold on to one's identity when everything begins to fade away.

Mompreneurs Fest Colombia is an entrepreneurship event in Colombia and Latin America focused on women entrepreneurs. International experts, mentors, and representatives from institutions that support female entrepreneurship will gather on August 1 at the Compensar Avenida 68 venue.

How to get there?

As part of LGBTI Pride Month and the Festival for Equality in Bogotá, three marches convened and agreed by the citizens will take place. The Trans March will be a space to walk for a Bogotá where you are free to be.
