25th Jizca Chía Zhue Festival – El Tamuy de Bacatá

The Muisca Indigenous Council of Bosa proudly announces the 25th Jizca Chía Zhue Festival, “El Tamuy de Bacatá,” a celebration that blends tradition, spirituality, and art to honor the Wedding of the Sun and the Moon. This is the 25th edition of the festival in its ancestral territory and the second edition since it was included in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage at the district level through Resolution No. 935 of December 15, 2023, issued by the Secretariat of Culture, Recreation, and Sports.

Área en Vivo Lab is a strategic platform designed to enhance the visibility of local artists and strengthen the position of Bogotá-Region as a UNESCO Creative City of Music.

11th Macarenazo Festival

Under the theme “Living Roots, Memory, and Future of the Neighborhood,” the 11th Macarenazo Festival will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in the La Macarena neighborhood in downtown Bogotá.

This traditional festival aims to continue positioning the area as an important tourist destination in the city, showcasing its diverse gastronomic, artisanal, historical, architectural, and cultural offerings.

Mompreneurs Fest Colombia is an entrepreneurship event in Colombia and Latin America focused on women entrepreneurs. International experts, mentors, and representatives from institutions that support female entrepreneurship will gather on August 1 at the Compensar Avenida 68 venue.

As part of LGBTI Pride Month and the Festival for Equality in Bogotá, three marches convened and agreed by the citizens will take place. The Trans March will be a space to walk for a Bogotá where you are free to be.
