International Biennial of Art and the City

The Bogotá International Biennial is a large-scale initiative that positions the city as an epicenter of global contemporary art, fostering dialogue between artists, curators, and diverse audiences. Conceived as a platform for experimentation and reflection, the Biennial integrates exhibitions, urban interventions, and academic programs exploring issues of social and cultural relevance.  

The 2025 edition, under the curatorial theme “Essays on Happiness,” seeks to create a meeting place between art and the city, activating unconventional spaces and encouraging public participation. More than 100 artists will gather at BOG25 between September 20 and November 9, 2025. 

How to get there?

• By private vehicle: From downtown Bogotá, head north on Carrera 7. Turn left onto Calle 26 and continue to Carrera 6. Turn right and proceed to address #26-50. La Santamaría Bullring - Cultural Venue will be on your left, with parking options nearby.
• By TransMilenio: Take the M line to the Museo Nacional station on Carrera 7. From there, walk west along Carrera 7. La Santamaría Bullring - Cultural Venue is just a few minutes away, at address #26-50.
• By SITP: Take an SITP route that runs along Calle 26 or Carrera 7. If you are coming from the north or south, get off at a stop near Carrera 7 and walk south until you reach La Santamaría Bullring - Cultural Venue.
