Saturday, August 31, starting at 2:00 p.m., over 900 artists of all ages will take to the streets from La Santamaría Cultural Square along Carrera 7 to Calle 12 in the Manuel Murillo Toro building to celebrate one of the capital's most vibrant traditions.
The localities of Usaquén, San Cristóbal, Suba, Barrios Unidos, Los Mártires, Puente Aranda, Rafael Uribe Uribe and Sumapaz will showcase their colorful proposals as a result of community work that highlights the cultural richness, creativity, and diversity of the city.

La Grande Chapelle is a vocal and instrumental ensemble of early music focused on recovering the great Spanish works composed between the 16th and 18th centuries. They will perform at the Teatro Mayor, a program of works by composers such as Carlos Patiño, Juan Hidalgo, and Sebastián Durón that were very popular in the courts of Philip IV. These are baroque songs and carols with an authentic poetic style that characterized the Hispanic aesthetics of the time. The concert is part of the International Festival of Sacred Music of Bogotá.

The conductor will be the American Arthur Fagen, and the soloists will be the Macedonian soprano Milena Arsovksa and the Colombian mezzo-soprano Andrea Niño. This concert will open the International Festival of Sacred Music of Bogotá.

The event will start at 9:30 a.m. The route will begin at the parking lot of the Salitre Mágico Park and continue along Calle 63, Carrera 7, and Calle 134 until reaching its destination at the Paseo San Rafael Shopping Center.
