Teatro Quimera, Colombia :"Coriolano, la tragedia del orgullo”. Director: Jorge Prada

Teatro Quimera will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2025 by presenting the play "Coriolano, la tragedia del orgullo" at the Teatro Mayor. This production is based on a text by William Shakespeare and adapted by Bertolt Brecht. Set in ancient Rome, the play tells the story of a character whose overwhelming pride leads him to disregard death and destruction. It is a compelling tale that explores the themes of pride and its social consequences.

How to get there? 

• Private vehicle: If you are traveling from the south to the north on Autopista Norte or Carrera Septima, take a right onto Calle 169 and then head west on Avenida Boyacá. If you are coming from the north to the south, turn west onto Calle 170 until you reach the Cultural Center. If you are traveling from the south to the north on Avenida Boyacá, you can reach Calle 170 and then make a right turn. The theater will be two blocks ahead. 
• TransMilenio: Take any Line B route to Portal Norte. From there, take feeder bus 2-7 San José and get off at the seventh stop.
• SITP: Take any Line B or C route to Barrio San José V Sector Stop (Calle 169b - Carrera 67). There, you'll find the theater.
