Encuentro Afro (Afro Gathering)

This gathering aims to transform the Delia Zapata Olivella National Center for the Arts into a dialogue space that acknowledges the diversity and complexity of a history that has often been fragmented within our national narrative. Harmonization rituals, exhibitions, dance performances, concerts, theater, a children's area, and an audiovisual show will be part of this artistic and cultural program. The event seeks to foster horizontal dialogue—something Afro-descendant communities have long worked to build across many spaces and generations.
