Cortocinesis, Colombia - 'Ocho'
Five elements—singing, instruments, dance, acting, and circus—come together in a cross-disciplinary exchange, brought to life by eight performers who attempt to communicate from within their own artistic origins. Yet, they have no choice but to embrace each other’s languages in order to express themselves and give meaning to this shared theatrical world. MURMURIA is the latest work by Cortocinesis, an artistic company that for more than two decades has explored the possibilities of communication through a form of theater rooted in the body and dance.
