Corferias

Corferias is the largest fairground in Bogotá. Officially inaugurated on June 8, 1954, it was conceived to offer a comfortable space for holding fairs of all kinds, over time extending its function to exhibitions and massive events. Its first milestone was the International Exhibition Fair, which evolved into the Bogotá International Fair. Within the complex, there is the Hilton Hotel and the Gran Carpa Américas, a multifunctional space.

In this tour, you will visit three majestic sites belonging to the Simon Bólivar Metropolitan Park (14 parks):

- The Botanical Garden with a variety of plants in their different ecosystems, with three Tropicariums with microclimates.

- The Virgilio Barco Library and Park, a masterpiece of architecture set in a beautiful cultural park.

- The Simon Bolivar Park, where concerts and sporting events are held.

  1.  Monserrate is a Bogotá icon that rises majestically over the city. We will use the cable car/funicular to enjoy panoramic views of the capital and its surrounding mountains and visit the Sanctuary of the Fallen Lord, a place of pilgrimage and spirituality.
  2. The historic Candelaria: You will walk along the cobblestone streets of this colonial neighborhood, admiring its traditional architecture with captivating stories about its past. We will visit the iconic Bolívar Square, surrounded by the Cathedral, the Capitol, and the Palace of Justice.

Let's go to the cavern

Soft walk interpretative tour of 1 hour and 30 minutes. Then, we will arrive at the paramo, in where we will enter a cavern, and after leaving, we will take a 30 minute walk back.

Once you complete your registration, each participant will receive an email with the meeting point, time and specific recommendations. For this activity you can arrive in your own vehicle or by intermunicipal transportation.
