Bogotá will celebrate one of its most authentic cultural events: the Colombia al Parque 2025 Festival. The event will take place at the Lovers Park (Parque de Los Novios) on July 19 and 20. A total of 18 national, international and district groups will perform, presenting a diverse musical lineup that ranges from Andean music, futuristic cumbia, and bullerengue to flamenco, soul, jazz, and sounds from Colombia’s Pacific region.
Featured artists include Puerto Candelaria, celebrating 25 years of career; The Aicardi Brothers, who continue the legacy of Rodolfo Aicardi, an icon of popular music; and Tonada, a group dedicated to preserving the traditional bullerengue of Urabá, Antioquia, and the Montes de María. The Estudiantina Cundinamarca will also bring traditional string instruments to the stage with an ensemble of young talents.
The international guests will include Buika, the renowned Spanish singer known for her fusion of flamenco and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, and Perotá Chingó, the Argentine duo that has captivated audiences across the continent with its acoustic and poetic proposal.
Colombia al Parque is also a perfect place to discover new sounds created in Bogotá. Eight district groups, selected through a public call, will share the stage with national and international artists. They are Pedro Bombo, with his Latin American Andean music proposal; La Perla, a female trio that mixes Caribbean rhythms with urban sounds; Nicoyembe, with its Afro-Colombian fusion from the Pacific and Caribbean coasts; and Embera Koede, representatives of contemporary indigenous music, among others.
Nariño, guest of honor
In the 2025 edition of the event, there will be a guest of honor: the Nariño department. It is located in the southwest of Colombia, a territory known for its cultural richness. The festival will feature groups from Nariño such as Patacoré, Los Hermanos Genoy, Encuentro Trío, Raíz-Afropacífico, and musical selectors Mopadub and Juan No Fear, who will take the public on a sonic journey that blends tradition and innovation.
Colombia al Parque is a free, family-friendly, and inclusive festival, perfect for those visiting Bogotá during these dates. The park's gates will open both days at 11:00 a.m., and the concerts will begin at 12:00 p.m., with programming until 9:00 p.m.
Art and Entrepreneurship
This edition of Colombia al Parque offers much more than just music. Visitors will find an art and entrepreneurship area featuring handicrafts, local products, and traditional cuisine. There will also be an academic space with talks and activities focused on traditional music. Plus, on Sunday, July 20, a children’s area will include a performance by the group Sonómadas and their show El Cocinajero.
