Vibraciones de Rio y Mar (River and Sea Vibrations)

Since 2008, the group Phonoclórica has been showcasing the vitality of Pacific sounds in the nation’s capital, led by the voice and marimba de chonta of Leonel Merchán.

How to get there?

• By private vehicle: You can take Carrera Séptima or Avenida Circunvalar, then turn onto Calle 11 heading west. The location is in Bogotá’s historic center, an area known for its narrow streets and variable traffic conditions. It’s advisable to use mobility apps to find nearby parking and avoid restricted zones.
• TransMilenio: Museo del Oro (Caracas Trunk) and Las Aguas (Eje Ambiental Trunk) are the closest stations. You can walk between 5 and 10 minutes from any of these stations to reach Calle 11 with Carrera 5.
• SITP: Several SITP routes run along nearby roads, such as Carrera 3, Carrera 5, and Calle 10. Some recommended stops are Universidad Externado, Museo del Oro, and Plazoleta del Rosario. From there, you can walk a few minutes to reach the place.
