Todo se sabe: el cuento de la creación de García Márquez

This is the largest, most extensive, complete and revealing exhibition ever developed on the archives of Gabriel García Márquez, a universal Colombian, one of Latin America's most brilliant thinkers and a world-renowned and widely read author.  An exceptional exhibition of national and international impact, it will be held at the National Library of Colombia in Bogotá starting on the 23rd and as a prelude to the commemoration of the centenary of Gabo's birth in 2027. It is a unique opportunity to rediscover his legacy and appreciate his impact on literature and global thought.

The show will be available as follows:

• Tues-Fri: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 
• Sat. and Sun.: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

How to get there?

• By private vehicle:You can access it from Carrera Séptima, Carrera Décima or Avenida Caracas, and then take Calle 24 heading west. The National Library is located in a central area of Bogotá, in the Las Nieves neighborhood, near the Germania Park and the National Park. As it is an institutional and university sector, there are public parking lots nearby, but it is recommended to use navigation apps to avoid high-traffic zones.
• By TransMilenio: The closest stations are Universidades, Museo del Oro and Las Nieves; all of them are on the Caracas or Jiménez (Line J) trunk lines. From any of these stations, you will have to walk about 8 to 10 minutes to Calle 24 and Carrera 5. If you are coming from the Eje Ambiental trunk, you can also get off at Avenida Jiménez.
• By SITP: You can take routes that pass through Carrera Séptima, Calle 26, or Avenida Caracas. Some nearby stops are Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano (Calle 22 - Carrera 4), Biblioteca Nacional (Calle 24 - Carrera 5), Concejo de Bogotá (Calle 26 - Carrera 6), Centro Internacional (Carrera 7 - Calle 24). From these stops, you will walk less than five minutes from the main entrance.
