The house of Naval History is a cultural and heritage space located in the Teusaquillo locality. Founded in 2019, this place houses a valuable collection of objects, documents, and artifacts that tell the evolution of the Colombian Navy and its maritime, naval, and fluvial legacy.
It is a site designed to connect the public with more than two centuries of history, through free tours that allow visitors to learn about the exploits, heroes, and technological transformations of the naval institution. Its rooms bring to life the stories of men and women who have protected the blue of the national flag, including Admiral José Padilla López, a national hero and emblematic figure of the Navy.
The House of Naval History has also become an educational space hosting activities for public, private, and naval schools, promoting awareness of maritime history among children, and young people.
This cultural treasure is open to the public Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with free admission. An ideal place for tourists and residents looking to take a journey into the past and discover the importance of our waters in national history.
